Daniel Roberts
Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy

About me
I'm Daniel Roberts, a psychodynamic counsellor and psychotherapist. I see adults face to face in Bloomsbury, central London.
I have worked in mental health settings for more than ten years, including the Priory Hospital (Roehampton and Wimbledon), South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (Croydon Integrated Psychological Therapy Service), Sutton Counselling Service and Croydon Counselling Foundation.
What I work with
People come to therapy for many different reasons. I have experience working with:
-
anxiety and depression
-
bereavement and loss
-
relationship difficulties
-
family difficulties
-
sexuality and sexual relationships
-
long-standing difficulties with emotions and relationships
You don't need a clear reason, or a name for what you're feeling, to get in touch.
I believe we grow and develop throughout our lives. Sometimes we have to stop and look back before we can move forward.
Therapy in British Sign Language
Before training as a therapist I had a career in languages, and I can offer counselling and psychotherapy in British Sign Language (BSL). This means Deaf clients who use BSL can work directly with a therapist in their own language, without an interpreter in the room.
